Are you an up and coming photographer looking develop your visual voice, or a personal project? Do you enjoy urban landscape and street photography?
Then this 3 1/2 day "Pay What You Want" workshop August 2-5, based at the Williamsburg Hotel in Brooklyn, is for you! Each day will begin with a group review and critique. After that we head out in the Brooklyn urban landscape to photograph for 3-4 hours. And conceptual documentary photographer and photo editor Jennifer Loeber will join us for the final day review session
The locations will be a follows:
Day 1 - Williamsburg, Greenpoint
Day 2 - Dumbo, Brooklyn Bridge Park
Day 3 - Coney Island and Brighton Beach
Douglas Ljungkvist is a Brooklyn based photographer best known for his graphic and vernacular urban landscape photography. His first monograph Ocean Beach was published by Kehrer Verlag in 2014.
Early priority deadline to apply is midnight, Wednesday July 26.
Each day will start at 09AM and is estimated to finish around 5PM

Why you are interested in attending the workshop and what you hope to get out of it
A link to an online portfolio (or you can submit 10-20 low res JPG’s, 1,000 pixels on the long side, as attachments)
This is a “Pay what you want” workshop, which is not the same as free. You can make a donation based on how satisfied you are and how much you can afford. As a guideline, photo workshops in New York ranges from $75 to $200 per day.
Participants are responsible for their own transportation costs to/from/within Brooklyn during the workshop.
